Wednesday, September 18, 2024 – Warning For Preferences

Wednesday “Watchman Warning” Report

God’s Counsel is Concrete Not Imaginary

Defending a lie will cause you to deny the truth. Let’s not make the same mistake that Peter did who was presented with the truth, yet denied it, being more willing to defend lies in order to protect his preferences. Do not be deceived. Christ never promised us a life that is based on what we prefer. We must make sure that we are not relying on our preferences, which is our imagination, rather than relying on God’s Counsel.

If we walk according to the imagination of our own heart, we will be led astray. But if we walk according to God’s Counsel, it will be made manifest because it is the living truth. Let’s live in reality and not imaginary by living in truth and not in lies. Remember, God’s Counsel is Concrete, tangible, actual, real, and made manifest. Our preferences is imaginary, fake, formed from pretense, feigned, and made up in our mind. Take heed that you live according to what is real and concrete and not what is fake and conceived.

Jeremiah 7:24 “But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.”

Jeremiah 18:12 “And they said, There is no hope: but we will walk after our own devices, and we will every one do the imagination of his evil heart.”

Jeremiah 23:22 “But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.”

Nehemiah 6:8 “Then I sent unto him, saying, There are no such things done as thou sayest, but thou feignest them out of thine own heart.”

Luke 8:17 “For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.”

John 3:20-21 “For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.”
