~ A Place Providing Assurance of God's Promises To God's People ~

Tuesday: September 3, 2024 – Healing from Attachments

Tuesday “Total Healing” Report

No Strings Attached

We must understand that there is a day when we will have to leave it all behind… everything we own that is. Will you be ready in a moment to forsake all for following Christ? Or is your heart bound in the things of this life? Being made whole does not come from receiving possessions that you have loss. On the contrary, being made whole comes from having a fullness of contentment in Christ. By recognizing how God promises to never leave you nor forsake you, then you can rest assured  no matter what you stand to lose because you know without a doubt you always have God with you who happens to own EVERYTHING!

God is our Father, which means He is our sustainer. He does not want His children to be dependent on anything but Him! In this life we must be willing to live with no strings attached, that is to be willing to lose everything for the sake of Christ. The greatest healing comes from being loosed or free from things we have become attached to so that there is nothing left but God to fill those voids. That is being made whole. That is being healed!

Luke 14:33 “So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.”

Matthew 10:39 “He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.”

Hebrews 13:5 “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said , I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”

Philippians 4:11 “Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

1 Timothy 6:6-8 “But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

Psalms 55:22 “Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and He shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.”
