Tuesday, September 10, 2024 – Healing For Holiness

Tuesday “Total Healing” Report

True Conversion Vs. Counterfeit Version

There are many versions of holiness in the world, but the question is how many represent a true Conversion in Christ? The answer is not many. Even Peter was depicted as having not been fully converted yet, though he followed and walked closely with Christ. Which means that up until that time, Peter was displaying a counterfeit version of holiness. We may be able to deceive others, and even ourselves believing that we are truly walking in Holiness, but we cannot deceive Christ. In order to be walking in pure holiness, your heart must be truly converted. Could this be why sometimes the scripture referred to him as Peter, meanwhile other times he was referred to as Simon?

If you are truly converted, you will not be able to fluctuate, deviate or change in your nature, once the conversion has taken place. And once conversion has truly taken place, healing begins. The only problem is most of us, just like Peter, believe that we are already converted and therefore do not seek to be healed and made whole. We deny and dismiss the idea of being a counterfeit, even after being told by Christ himself, as with Peter. We must take heed to the counsel of Christ in order to allow true Conversion to manifest in our lives. Otherwise we would be left unhealed, unholy, as were the Pharisees.

John 12:40 “He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted; and I should heal them.”

1 Corinthians 10:12 “Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.”

Luke 22:32 “But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.”

Luke 5:31 “And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
