Saturday “Say Amen” Report
Give God All The Glory
Dear Heavenly Father,
We pray to not seek our own glory but to seek the glory of you who have sent us into the world. (John 7:18)
We thank you for choosing the base things of the world, and things that are despised, so that no flesh should be able to glory in your presence. But rather we pray that we should glory in the Lord. (1 Corinthians 1:28-29, 31)
Father, we ask you to forgive us for the times when we do glory in ourselves, knowing that it is you alone who maketh us to differ from another and anything that we have is because we received it from you. So then if we have received it why would we glory? (1 Corinthians 4:7)
Lord, our heart’s desire is whether we eat or drink, for everything we do to be done for the glory of God, so teach us how that we may offer the glory and thanks to you in all things. (1 Corinthians 10:31)
May we always remember that it is of you, and through you and to you, by which are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen. (Romans 11:36)
