Intention Vs. Faith
Having good Intentions does not automatically afford a good result or good outcome. That is because intention only signifies the start of something. However, faith is the means to start and the means to continue enduring until the end. So ask yourself, have you only had good intentions to start something but not be able to finish? Or have you been having faith? Remember intention is the ignition to start, but faith is the fuel to keep going.
Luke 14:28-30 “For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first , and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.“
Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
James 2:14-17 “What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.”
2 Timothy 4:7 “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.“
