Seek The Kingdom Not Things
The pursuit of things is hindering our ability to enter the kingdom. Apparently, according to Jesus, things are not to be sought after. Things in turn, should be added unto our lives, as we have need of them. We rather, are told to seek the Kingdom of God, which is the ruling authority of God’s Government, and His righteousness, which is to be in right alignment with that heavenly government laws. If we preoccupy ourselves with seeking the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, then we trust God to be a faithful Father who will provide for His children needs, as well as a faithful King, who will provide for His citizens. It is when we seek after things that we openly show God that we do not trust Him to provide for us, which is why we seek after the things ourselves, as the Gentiles do.
Let us be delivered from things, which is the sole factor as to what is hindering us from entering the Kingdom, and let us be confident knowing that our God is faithful to provide all that we need and more. Our Deliverance is found in knowing the truth, because we shall know the truth and the truth shall set us free. And truth is that we serve a God who knows what we have need of before we ask Him. So let us believe this to be true and allow God to add everything we need unto us, while we just focus on seeking His Kingdom to come and His will to be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Amen.
Matthew 6:32-33 “(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
Luke 12:29-31 “And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. But rather seek ye the Kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
Philippians 2:21 “For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ’s.”
Colossians 3:1 “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.”
