Saturday “Say Amen” Report
Worthy Wisdom vs. Worldy Wisdom
Dear Heavenly Father,
We pray to be a wise child who is endued with knowledge, and one who shows out of a good conversation our works with meekness of wisdom. (James 3:13)
We pray to not have bitter envying and strife in our hearts, that we glory not, and lie not against the truth. (James 3:14)
We pray to have the wisdom that is from above and not that which is earthly, sensual and devilish. (James 3:15)
Father we ask for forgiveness, and that we may be purged from envying and strife. For we know that where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. We ask to be delivered of such things in Jesus Name. (James 3:16)
We pray to have the wisdom that is from above, which is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. (James 3:17)
We pray for the fruit of righteousness to be sown in peace in our hearts for those of us that make peace. (James 3:18)
Lastly, Father we pray that you may help us to have a fear of you by departing from evil. For we know that it is written that the fear of the Lord is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding. (Job 28:28)
In Jesus Name, AMEN!
