Saturday “Say Amen” Report
Examples Of What Does Not Please God
Dear Heavenly Father,
We pray that you may forgive the mistakes and trespasses made by our ancestors and help us to not lust after evil things, as they also listed. (1 Corinthians 10:6)
We pray to not be idolators as were some of them, being that it is written how the people say down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. (1 Corinthians 10:7)
We pray that we may not commit fornication, as some of them committed and fell in one day. (1 Corinthians 10:8)
We pray also that we may not tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted and were destroyed by serpents. (1 Corinthians 10:9)
We pray also that we may not murmur, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. (1 Corinthians 10:10)
For we know that all of these things happened unto them and are written to be examples unto us, for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. (1 Corinthians 10:11)
Therefore, we beseech you God of heaven, to cause those of us who think that we stand, to take heed, lest we fall. (1 Corinthians 10:12)
